About Kari
From the service to the studio.
Kari Carter spent eighteen years as a sergeant in the Canadian Armed Forces. That career taught her to read a room, stay calm, and earn trust quickly — the same things that make a portrait session feel easy instead of awkward.
Today she works from her St. Albert studio, photographing people, their pets, and fine-art pieces. Her conceptual work, "Fabricated Beauty," earned her a place on Team Canada at the World Photographic Cup in the digital-art category — recognition among the best photographers in the world.
